Andrea Mann is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor-Supervisor (LMHC-S) in the State of Florida and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She holds two Master of Science degrees in Psychology and Mental Health Counseling, and numerous postgraduate certifications in specialized fields of mental health counseling. Andrea is credentialed as a Qualified Supervisor for mental health and marriage and family therapist interns. She is also a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S) and a Certified Adlerian Play Therapist-Advanced (CAdPT-A).
Andrea has dedicated her career to helping individuals and families navigate complex emotional and psychological challenges. She specializes in play therapy, trauma, LGBTQIA-related concerns, and multiculturalism. Her experience includes presenting to mental health professionals at local, state, and national levels, where she shares her expertise and insights.
Having lived in southwest Florida for over a decade, Andrea integrates her diverse cultural background into her practice, providing a compassionate and individualized approach to counseling. She is passionate about fostering lasting, positive change for children, adolescents, and adults, and is committed to supporting those in need with empathy and dedication.
REGISTERED MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR INTERN
Christine McKay is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern in the state of Florida and a Certified School Counselor K-12 in the State of Florida. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Human Development, and a Master of Arts Degree in School Counseling. Christine is a member of American Counseling Association (ACA). Upon completion of an exam, additionally will be a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). She has taken countless professional development and continuing educational courses, as well as many hours of personal enrichment.
Working with children with mental health concerns and their families, and other professionals in many different roles and settings, has gained her a wide range of experiences. Including an Activity Therapist /Case Manager at a 24-hour intensive wraparound care program; Behavioral Therapist / Consultant working in the home and school settings; Program Coordinator at a day treatment facility. Most recently as a School Counselor having experiences at different grade levels, holding leadership roles at the school and district level including supervising School Counselor Interns.
While focusing on the whole development of a child / young adult, she challenges and assists them to reach their fullest potential as an individual, a member of a family, and within a community. She strives to meet the diverse needs of others with an optimistic attitude, growth mindset, and strengths-based philosophies. Christine uses her strong communication skills to fosters a positive therapeutic environment to ensure the highest level of care, treatment planning, and goal setting. Christine believes that everyone has the power to choose happiness and to create the life that they desire.
